Our Little Daredevil

Well I have spent all day on trying to upload all of our pictures...internet on the Rez is worse than dial up to say the least! Haha.  Well here is another picture of the coffee table getting another coat of poly on it.

We had a couple of windy days up here but they were on the warmer side so we decided to take Daley out to the church parking lot and fly a kite.  It was a cheap one so it didn't fly too high for very long but Daley sure had a good time!

Brook, Dallas, Shelby, Houston, and Sterling all came up to visit us during a big snow storm!  We had a good at Pizza Planet (that's what Shelby and Houston called the pizza place ;) and going to the movies! We went and watched Jack the Giant Slayer and it turned out to be a cute movie.  We are so glad they got to come up and they made it safe and sound.  We had a blast!

The other day we found ourselves on the north side of Monument Valley.  We had seen it a couple of times but never took any pictures.  This time we had our camera ready!  These pictures don't do it justice but I love the view from the north side!
Here I am at 35 weeks.

My Stud Muffin!

Denver got a good pic here with the horses in the front!

In this pic you can see Monument Valley on the left.

Our little Princess!

Daley loves our puppy Scout!  They are so cute together!

Here is the finished product of our coffee table!  We found the wood from Clints Well off Denver's Dad's and Uncles' Ranch.

Notice Daley on the ladder?  Funny story!  So we had been working outside the other day on our coffee table and the swamps. I was over on the other side of the house putting a coat of poly on and Denver was on the roof. Daley came over and said she was going to check on Dad. So I told her okay and make sure he doesn't fall off. Well a few minutes later Denver calls out for me to come around and I found Daley up on the roof with Denver. He said she came up and tapped him on the shoulder while he was working on the swamp and said "Hi Dad!"
She is too brave! Thank goodness she didn't fall! Her guardian angels were close by!

Here are some quilts my Mom, Grandma B, and I had worked on over a weekend when they came to visit!  They turned out so cute!

This one I found a picture of on Pinterest and Denver and I fell in love with it! So I found a pattern of how to do chevron and told my mom about it.  We put it together and had my amazingly talented Aunt Cindy do the chevron quilting part of it!  It looks amazing and a big thank you for everyone who helped me out with it.  Denver and I found these cool Case patches on Ebay and I sewed them on a couple of quilts.

The last quilted quilt in the picture is one my good friend Suzanne Tomkinson made for Case!  It is soo cute!  I have a few more projects we did but they are packed away ready in case we have to make a quick get away to the hospital.

January-February

What a boring title post huh?  I couldn't think of anything exciting to put there because there really hasn't been anything too out of the ordinary happen in since Christmas.  We have had some visitors come up!  Blake and Martha and their family, and my parents, Grandma B, and Madi all came up to visit in the past couple of months.  We had a good time just hanging out as usual!  I don't know if I posted this or not in the last post but just a couple of weeks before Christmas I was dumping pictures from our camera memory card onto our computer and we stick the little card in the side of our all-in-one computer.  Well little Miss Daley was watching me and pulled out the card and it hadn't been seen since.  So our picture taking has been pretty lowsy because we didn't have a camera really.

So Denver and I had been talking about possible getting another camera and we finally decided to get one because the xD card for the other camera costs $40 for a little 2 gig card (I think they have stopped making them because they are outdated).  We just couldn't pull ourselves to spend that money on a card when similar SD cards would only cost about $5 tops for 2 gigs.  So Denver let me get a new camera!  It's a Canon DSLR camera that we will be able to play around with.  There are so many tutorials on Pinterest and how to use them on there.  We really like the camera it takes awesome pictures on auto!

Oh yeah back to Daley loosing the xD card, well low and behold the day after we ordered the camera, I found the card stuck in the side of the computer sideways so it was almost impossible to see unless you tried to put another card in there which was exactly what I was doing.  Haha.

Well just some updates on what we've been up to....Daley is almost 100% potty trained!  She was doing good before Christmas but when we visited family she was too busy to take care of business.  But when we got home she did great!  We took our first 2.5 hour drive to Flagstaff with out a diaper on and she did so great!  Now if we could get her out of diapers at night we would be completely done. We have been finding her singing about everything.  She sings to Mylie Cyrus, ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, counts to 10, and makes up her own songs about people she loves, pizza, cars and trucks, and her dog Scout!  It's so fun listening to her songs.  She is growing so fast!  She is in 4T clothes and we can hardly keep up with her.  She loves to help me cook and clean (except vacuuming...it scares her to death! haha)  and take care of her babies, and do my hair, and dance!  She is a pro at doing puzzles and she could work on her puzzles all day if we let her!   She has been into wearing dresses lately too.  The only dresses she had for a while were her night gowns that are too small for her but she refused to wear anything else.  She loves the movies Tarzan and Peter Pan too right now.

Oh, I just realized I didn't post anything about our new puppy!  We got a miniature Australian Shepherd and we named him Scout.  He is the cutest little dog and we have fallen in love with him, especially Daley!  This is as big as he will get in these pictures which is the perfect size for little kiddos.

Denver is working away at the pizza store and on homework.  He is taking classes again this semester and is doing great in them!  He has been working hard in getting ahead in them so when we have Case he could be practically done.  He also decided one day he was going to build us a coffee table.  It's coming together quickly and I can't wait to see the end results!  He's my Superman!  And on top of it all he has been the best Dad and husband a girl could ask for!  I'm so grateful for everything he does for our little family!  I still can't imagine how I got so lucky!

Here is a little update on the pregnancy...everything is going really well!  I only have 2 more shots left!  I can't believe our little Case is going to be here in a month!  I am scheduled to have him on April 7th for travel reasons!  We are all ready for him except to set up the little bassinet in our room and that's it!  We can't wait!

Daley still loves watching her Madi Mad video!

She loves riding her trike!

She got a sliver and while Denver was working on getting it out she would cover her mouth in fear because it hurt her a little bit.  I didn't get a picture of it but here is one of Denver reinacting it.  She wanted a turn getting a sliver out of Denver's hand.

Denver has been working on a coffee table that we have been needing for a while.  We are building it with scrap wood that we have collected from various places.  The top of the table will be out of old wood from the Crooked H Ranch from some old corrals.  Here are some before pictures of it.  We still lack the paint and poly for it but when it's done we will post more pictures of it!  We have been enoying our evenings going out when Denver gets off work to work on it.  Daley is such a good helper!

Here is the top wood for the table.

Here Daley is saying "Surprise" in sign language haha.  That is also the base of the coffee table all sanded and ready to be painted!
