We are getting the Internet!

Sorry we don't have pictures again this time because I'm at work, but we will be updating soon with pictures because we are GETTING THE INTERNET! Yay! Last few blogs that we did, we were in Thatcher visiting my parents and we used their internet to update. Here in a few days we will have our own internet and a newer faster computer for everything. Denver and I have really had a blast spending our first summer together! In May we were so busy with visiting family. We went to Riley and Bentley's blessings and hung out in Thatcher. We got to stay home the whole month of June to catch up on things at home. Then this month we went to Greer and Mexican Hay Lake for the Alder and Finch Family Reunions over the Fouth of July which were so much fun! Denver and I are getting ready to start school in the fall. It's going to be hard getting back into groove of things for school. I took a semester off last spring and now its time to buckle down and finish school. I have finally decided on finishing my Elementary Education Major in Science. I kept on changing my major left and right and that put me 3 semesters behind! I should have graduated last May! But with this decision I should graduate in May of 2011! YAY! I will be posting more as soon as we get internet WITH PICTURES!

I almost got a mustache!

Sorry this post doesn't have a picture to go with it. Maybe one of these days I'll upload the pictures from my camera. Denver and I were sitting on our couch last night making up our menu for the next two weeks and we were trying to come up with meals that would be more efficient with what we had in the kitchen already. I had bought some chicken from Fry's that is already precooked and all you have to do is bake it or microwave it. I have one more Teriyaki breast and a few Lemon Pepper breasts left. Denver had the idea that we could have chicken and rice. That was a great idea but normally you have teriyaki chicken with your rice but the lemon chicken would be fine to eat with it too. I was going to be a sweet wife and let Denver have the last teriyaki breast and I told him that that's what we were going to do for next Wednesday. He, of course, wasn't going to let that happen so he started to write on our menu that I was to have the teriyaki breast. I didn't want him to write that because I don't want the teriyaki breast! So when he was writing that I started bumping the pen and messing him up...he told me that if I kept doing that, he was going to draw a mustache on me. I kept doing it.....so he tried holding my arms down and drawing on my upper lip but was unsuccessful! We went back to the menu and tried to come up with more meals but I started messing with the pen again to see if he would really draw on my face. Then it started a wrestling match! It was so much fun! Denver won the wrestling but I won by not getting any pen on my face! Denver just couldn't write on his ever so sweet wife! Hahaha....he is really the sweetheart! I love that guy! What really happened was when he WAS writing on my face...the pen wasn't open and ready to write. I'm so thankful for Denver and the sweet man he is! He is always helping me with laundry, dishes, vacuuming, making the bed, and everything else! He is truly my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him! Thank you so much for making life a fun and great adventure!

Riley's Blessing

A few weekends ago, we got to go and party with the Finch's! It was Martha and Tanner's birthdays and Riley's blessing all into one great weekend!

The blessing day!

Like father like son.

The family just hanging out on a Sunday afternoon.

This was fun! It all started with Tanner and Denver standing back to back to see who was taller. Then Blake got in the circle, Wade came in a showed them all up! Haha....Blake is still the tallest and Tanner isn't too far behind.....Little Shelby even came in to take a picture them.

These girlie's are so stinkin cute! It was fun to see what they would get into next.

Bird Poop!

Denver and I got to go to my Nana and Papa's house in Payson to watch General Conference with the Platt's! I have always loved going over to my Nana and Papa's because we eat amazing food, you get lots of great rest, and you can always feel the Spirit there. Here are just some fun pictures of the weekend. We had a couple of sleepy heads....Porter and Matt.....and we were out BBQing and a bird pooped on me! I guess there is always a first for everything!

Honeymoon...San Diego!

Denver and I got to go to San Diego for our honeymoon! We got to go to the San Diego Temple, an Aircraft Carrier (The USS Midway), Mission Beach, and amazing Sea Food!

March 7, 2009

This day was the best day of our lives! We couldn't have had anything better about it! Denver and I were sealed in the Mesa Temple at 9:00 am Saturday morning. Our families weren't to happy about having an early wedding but Denver and I think it was the best thing we did! That way we could wake up early (we both didn't really sleep much that night anyway) and go to the temple and get married. After the wedding all of our family who came went to Book and Dallas Wilkins home where we had a BBQ! It was so fun! Denver and I owe Brook and Dallas a lot for putting up with us! They did so much! Brook did our wedding announcements which were sooooo beautiful and our wedding cake! She is so talented! I'm just so blessed to have amazing sister-in-laws! Denver and I pretty much just sat back and let our family do all of the planning....well we did have to find an apartment and help with announcements but other than that...our wedding and receptions were all a product of amazing family talent! We are so lucky! Thank you everyone for helping us out! We couldn't have asked for anything better! It was beautifully perfect!

Denver and I love these ones.....

Denver and I laughing...it was awkward because we had to fake laugh sometimes but it was so funny hearing each other do a "fake" laugh that it made us laugh our heads off for real. Taking pictures was really fun!

Denver and I just randomly dancing....we do this alot! Even when no music is playing, if he and I are having a good conversation, we often find ourselves dancing....I guess that's how a lot of this all got started!

This one is one of my favorites!

Denver looks so amazing in this picture! I'm just the luckiest girl in the world to have such a sweet, loving, strong, handsome, amazing husband! I tell him that everyday but he tells me that he is really the lucky one.....but we all know that I'm the luckiest! (Man, am I going to get it when Denver reads this!)
The next few pictures are close ups of us......

I didn't start doing my hair and make-up until about 6:30 Friday morning and all was going great until I got to the point where I had to put it up. I feel bad because I started freaking out and my mom and dad were trying to tell me that it looked great (because we should have been meeting with Kristyn right then but we were still in the hotel YIKES!) So i finally gave up on it and we left to get pictures taken at 8:30 am. My hair didn't look bad at all. Too bad I got a cold sore from it.....for the wedding and honeymoon! Haha...Denver was really excited about that! ;)

These are my shoes that I think are the cutest things! My whole family was on the search for Tiffany Blue shoes and we couldn't find them....until just a couple of weeks before the wedding my mom (who is absolutely amazing!) found them. I think she searched on the internet everyday for them. I'm just so lucky to have the best wedding planners in the world in my family! Thank you so much Ashlee, Hayley, Brooklyn, and Mom! It was beautiful!
