A'go'ne' Kayenta...You will be missed!

Wow it's been a while since I blogged last.  Well we left off at June last post so I will start off with July.  In July Blake and Martha and their family came up to visit us for the 4th of July.  We had fun going to the parade which Daley got scared of the fire trucks and didn't want to go anywhere near the road.  But she loves fire trucks!

We did some swimming and we went to the park to party after our BBQ.

Here are some pictures of the cousins!

We watched the fireworks from our house in the back of Dad's truck which was really fun!  The kids had a ball.

Then we celebrated Daley's 3rd Birthday!  Her favorite color is purple so she had a purple cake (inside) and purple balloons.  We had so much fun to get to celebrate it with Riley and Tess!  Daley has had all of her birthdays in Kayenta so it was fun to have kids her same age there.  It's usually us adults and the Daley cousins that are there which is fun but I think she loved having the kids there this time now that she is getting older.

It's a sad story but we decided it was time to move to explore new careers.  Denver decided what he wanted to go to school for and we found EAC has a good progam in computer networking.  He had been doing school online but we decided jumping in and doing in-class learning would be better and faster for Denver to complete.  We had tons of mixed feelings about leaving Kayenta.  We made so many good, close friends there and we loved working at the pizza store and in our church callings.  We felt at home there but, it was time to move to finish school.  Still today if I talk to anyone about Kayenta I have a hard time holding back the tears.  We miss everything about it.  But we know Heavenly Father is blessing our lives with our decision.  Thatcher is where we are suppose to be now.

Here are some pictures of our dear friends we left in Kayenta! We had a ward party before we left.  Here are a few we caught on camera We miss you!

Here are Daley's best friends Emma and Ellee.  Daley calls Ellee on her play phone still wanting to talk to her.  We need to come up and visit everyone soon!
Here is a picture of the family on the day we moved.  :(
The last load.
We miss you Kayenta!  You changed our lives for the good and you will never be forgotten!

June

June has been quite the month!  It all started out with hearing that there was a film crew up at Monument Valley shooting Transformers 4.  Our friend Jacob Holiday said that he saw Optimus Prime off the side of the road.  So when Denver got off of work we loaded into the car to see if we could find the Transformers!  Unfortunately we just missed them and they had just gone down into Monument Valley.  All that was left off of the side of the road was semis for equipment and things to haul fancy cars and stuff.   If we rode in the truck we would have been able to go down in and see them but we didn't think when we left. But here are some pictures to prove that we were there while they were filming the new Transformer movie!

Case has gotten to be such a little chunk! When he was born the nurse said that he was going to have a dimple but we could never find it until he started smiling a lot. Its so cute!

He also got his first hair cut! He lost all of his hair on top and just had the old half balded old man hair do. So we decided to cut it off to make it even with his new hair that was coming in on top. My mom gets mad at us because we did it with Daley too. Daley had lost most of her hair but only had a little patch the size of one of those mini pancakes and it would stand straight up...it was long too! So Denver and I decided we should trim it so it was the same length as everything else. My mom even said it looked cute until she we told her we cut it! Haha...

The weather really warmed up and we remember how much fun Daley has playing in the sprinklers...but this year not so much. Scout didn't even like it.

So since the sprinklers didn't work out so well we decided to go to the pool instead and it was still pretty cold but she had tons of fun! Case even got in his little swimmer!

We caught Daley with a stache of candy that she stole from the candy bag for the restaurant. She was sure sneeky about it too because she had it in her backpack. This is what I found after I got done feeding Case. She caught on really fast that when I'm feeding Case you can do anything you want! Little stinker!

Denver decided to shave his beard off but he wanted to take some pictures with a mustache on because both of our dads have one of them with one of their kids. He even went to the restaurant like that! We had a good laugh!

My dear friends threw me a baby shower too! In the Navajo culture you don't have the baby shower before the baby is born...you have it after to celebrate the arrival of the baby...So Case got to celebrate it with us! I feel bad I didn't get pictures of everyone who came but we had so much fun! We have really fallen in love with our ward up here and have made so many good close friends!

We had a Father's Day Primary activity where Daley got to make a rock monster and a picture frame for her Daddy. She had so much fun with Nelly helping her!

My friends Kaloa and Chloe came over to show me how to make fry bread! We were talking about making it at the baby shower and they were like...Yeah we'll come over tomorrow and show you! So it was fun learning how to stretch the dough using just your hands. I'm sure they had fun watching the bellagonna girl flip and drop her dough a thousand times too! Haha...Daley sure had fun with her buddies Colton and Peyton as you can see!

We made a quick little family trip down to Payson, Thatcher, and Eagar to visit our dads for Father's Day! Every time we get together with Kloee and Mark we have to take pictures! They are all getting so big!

Then Grandma and Pop came up to visit us! We didn't do much but we got to go to Goulding's Lodge for dinner one night!

Then Jennie and Kayde came up to visit too! Daley sure played hard with all of the cousins! We had fun just hanging out and swimming! It was a record breaking weekend with blistering heat so we didn't go outside much unless we were going to the pool!
