Labor Day Weekend

This year we got to go to the Alder Family Reunion on Mt. Graham for Labor Day!  This was a little different than what we have been doing since we have been married which we went to the Brown Family Reunion on Denver's side but my family started this tradition last year and we promised we would come this year.  We are excited for this new, fun tradition!  We will just be having to switch off every other year which isn't too bad.  My parents and Madi scoped out this spot which was a different spot than they went to last year and we made it into our own little campsite!  It was perfect!

We got a few sprinkles on of the days we were there and we all got to break out our umbrellas.  Here is one of Madi and her stolen umbrella.

Daley looks so cute in her raincoat and her umbrella.  She had a blast with it.

Here are the men and the kiddos cutting up some firewood.

This was the cool hang out spot for the little girls.  Daley had so much fun playing around the potties and the trailor.  All you need to entertain your kids while camping are some porter johns!  You don't need jumping castles or clowns for birthday parties...just some good ol' portable potties haha!!

Daley was the time keeper making sure nobody took longer than 30 seconds in the bathroom.  She would knock when your time was up!  Haha...jk.  But she sure had fun bugging people while they were busy doing their business.

My Nana and Papa Platt even got to come to the reunion!  It was nice to be able to see and spend time with them since we dont get to see them as often as we would like to! We love you guys!

My Dad was the head chef at camp!  Man can he make some mean potatoes!!!

Daley got to go on a few horse back rides.  She loved them!  She even decided to take a nap on one of the rides with my cousin Ashlee.  I wish I had a picture but I cant find one.

My Aunt Tonia and Uncle Joe got to come up too.  We felt bad though because they couldn't find our secret hiding spot and they spent their whole afternoon looking for us.  Denver and I went out to make a phone call and happened to find them right before they headed down the mountain.  They made it just in time for dinner!

I can't seem to figure out how to fix this picture either but I love it anyways.  (It looks great in my photo viewer program)  This is a picture of my two grandpas.  My Papa Platt (my dad's dad) and my Gandpa Alder (my mom's dad).  Two of the truest most amazing cowboys anyone could ever know!  They are such examples to my little family.

I could have swore that I had a great picture of my Alder Grandparents but I guess I didn't .  This was the best one i could find and it's still a good one but just not the one i was looking for.

I love this picture of my mom, Nana, and Grandma B.  These are the most amazing ladies you could ever know!  I just love them to pieces and I hope to someday become a woman like them!

My knight in shining armor!

  2. That picture of Daley gasping by the fire is hysterical, I love it. And then you can see where she gets it a couple pictures later.
