We are so excited we are having a boy! It was a surprise at how early we found out. We were going in for a routine ultrasound to check my due date and at the time I was only 14 weeks. Denver and I told the ultrasound tech that if she saw something to let us know. Well sure enough she saw that it was a little boy and she didn't have to look very long at all! We were in and out of there in 5 minutes!
We decided to name our little guy Denver Case Finch. We will be calling him Case. Denver came up with the name when we found out that we were pregnant with Daley but we didn't know if she was a boy or a girl yet. We were having a hard time figuring out a boy name but one day while we were driving down the road in Thatcher on our way to my parent's house, Denver saw an International Harvester tractor which the common name for those tractors now are called Case. As we passed the tractor on 1st Street Denver yelled out "Case!" I was like "Case? What is Case?" Then he said, "If this baby is a boy we are naming him Case!" I hadn't really heard of the name except from one of my previous jobs there was a customer with that name and I thought it was pretty cool. The ladies I worked with and I talked about his name and how cool it was everyonce in a while. So since we both loved the name...we decided right then in there that our next boy would be called Case.
This pregnancy has been really similar to the first pregnancy except I wasn't as sick this time around which was really nice. I had acid indigestion everyday with Daley and with Case I only get it everyonce in a while which is really nice! I get more headaches with this one especially if I don't drink enough water. I had tons of energy the first trimester but now that I am in the second I am slowly loosing my energy darn it! Because Daley was born at 34 weeks, I have to get a weekly shot of progesterone to keep from going into labor early hopefully! We just can't wait to meet our little guy! April isn't coming soon enough!!
Congratulations Megan, so excited for you! I like the name Case too! =]
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the boy! I have a nephew named Case (after the tractor). I definately think the progesterone shots helped me. I hope they do good for you!
