Our Little Daredevil

Well I have spent all day on trying to upload all of our pictures...internet on the Rez is worse than dial up to say the least! Haha.  Well here is another picture of the coffee table getting another coat of poly on it.

We had a couple of windy days up here but they were on the warmer side so we decided to take Daley out to the church parking lot and fly a kite.  It was a cheap one so it didn't fly too high for very long but Daley sure had a good time!

Brook, Dallas, Shelby, Houston, and Sterling all came up to visit us during a big snow storm!  We had a good at Pizza Planet (that's what Shelby and Houston called the pizza place ;) and going to the movies! We went and watched Jack the Giant Slayer and it turned out to be a cute movie.  We are so glad they got to come up and they made it safe and sound.  We had a blast!

The other day we found ourselves on the north side of Monument Valley.  We had seen it a couple of times but never took any pictures.  This time we had our camera ready!  These pictures don't do it justice but I love the view from the north side!
Here I am at 35 weeks.

My Stud Muffin!

Denver got a good pic here with the horses in the front!

In this pic you can see Monument Valley on the left.

Our little Princess!

Daley loves our puppy Scout!  They are so cute together!

Here is the finished product of our coffee table!  We found the wood from Clints Well off Denver's Dad's and Uncles' Ranch.

Notice Daley on the ladder?  Funny story!  So we had been working outside the other day on our coffee table and the swamps. I was over on the other side of the house putting a coat of poly on and Denver was on the roof. Daley came over and said she was going to check on Dad. So I told her okay and make sure he doesn't fall off. Well a few minutes later Denver calls out for me to come around and I found Daley up on the roof with Denver. He said she came up and tapped him on the shoulder while he was working on the swamp and said "Hi Dad!"
She is too brave! Thank goodness she didn't fall! Her guardian angels were close by!

Here are some quilts my Mom, Grandma B, and I had worked on over a weekend when they came to visit!  They turned out so cute!

This one I found a picture of on Pinterest and Denver and I fell in love with it! So I found a pattern of how to do chevron and told my mom about it.  We put it together and had my amazingly talented Aunt Cindy do the chevron quilting part of it!  It looks amazing and a big thank you for everyone who helped me out with it.  Denver and I found these cool Case patches on Ebay and I sewed them on a couple of quilts.

The last quilted quilt in the picture is one my good friend Suzanne Tomkinson made for Case!  It is soo cute!  I have a few more projects we did but they are packed away ready in case we have to make a quick get away to the hospital.

  2. Excellent use of apostrophes, I might say. I can't remember how I heard that story about Daley on the roof, but somehow I did. Maybe it was at Wade and Nanette's.

Laura and I need to come up and visit you guys, too! I've never been to Monument Valley. It looks really neat-o.
