Utah

In August we got to go on a spare o the moment trip with my parents up to Utah for a wedding!  My dad and his companion were tracting one day while on their mission and knocked on the door of this wonderful family.  Now their children are getting married in the temple and we got to be invited, well my parents did, we just tagged along. 

 

My parents came up the night before and spent the night to make the trip the next day not so long.  That evening is when we announced that we are expecting again!  Daley wore a shirt that we had made that said, "Only child.  Expiring April 2013!"  My parents never noticed it.  We had to tell them to look at her shirt, it was really funny!

 

We woke up early the next morning and jumped in the truck and headed off to Salt Lake City.  We stopped by our dear friend Kathy Swain's house because we hadn't seen her in a long time.  We had a good visit with her and then went on to see the Clarks for just a minute.  Then we went and checked into the hotel and set out to find a place to eat.  We went and walked around Temple Square and then went to the new Shopping Mall/City Creek just across the street.  We shopped around and later ate at Cheesecake Factory which is always yummy!

 

The next day was the day of the wedding and Denver, Daley, and I walked around Temple Square while it was going on.  After the wedding we handed Daley to my parents and Denver and I got to go through a session in the Salt Lake Temple.  Let me tell you...it is huge inside!  I got lost a couple of times and thank goodness for the sweet little temple workers to point you in the right direction.  It is so gorgeous inside!  We are so grateful for the pioneers who sacrificed and worked so hard to build it! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry the pictures are out of order but later after the reception we ate at a restaurant just outside of our hotel.  I can't remember the name of it but it was really good.  Daley was having a blast with Grandma and Pop!   She was feeding my dad his salad by hand.  She would pick up a piece of lettuce and dip it in the Ranch and feed it to him.  It was soooo cute!  There is a picture at the bottom and a video of it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Denver was making fun of me in this picture, I have a better one but because he was being a stinker I'm posting this one.  And because I think its funny!  Love you Denver!
